February 2, 2003 Providence College, Otterburne Manitoba
The annual youth encounter at Providence college was held from January 31-February 2. They had musical guests Relient K and KJ-52 perform Saturday night. The concert lasted from 8:00- 10:00 with KJ-52 kicking things off. In between sets the Rubber Chicken Guy got out of a strait jacket.

KJ-52
KJ-52 (pronounced five two not fifty-two) took a break from his current tour to come and perform. His fast moving lyrics and awesome beats sound like Eminem, but his lyrics say otherwise. His lyrics have important godly messages in them. KJ-52 is from Flordia. Good thing he wasn’t here two weeks before, when temperatures were quite a bit lower ! Brrr. He is a former youth pastor. He left that job to sing and spread the Word of God. The 52 in KJ-52 stand for the 5 loaves of bread and the two fish that fed thousands in the Bible. His set was 45 minutes long.

Calvary Temple, Winnipeg
April 5 th 2002
This night was billed as an evening of worship with Michael W. Smith,
and it lived up to its billing. It was Smitty at his finest, in worship, while
revealing a personal side.
Local boy Jon Buller warmed up the crowd with ‘Meet me in the River’ as
well as other ‘Hear the Music’ night favourites. The loud applause and
almost hysterical crowd reaction to Smitty’s entrance, was a sure sign
that ‘Star Power’ was in the ‘Peg.
